The house was packed. The only seat left empty? Anthony Sabatini‘s. In fact, not only is Sabatini the only politician, aside from Erika Benfield (is she really running?) to not show without giving proper notice, but one who has a track record of doing so. Sabatini has often been absent in the State House of Representatives where he currently serves, which some say is a voter fraud controversy as well.

Mr. Sabatini frequently fails to show up during both regular session and emergency sessions. A recent mailer highlighted this and his very own colleagues have dubbed him "absentini."
.
The only fireworks at the debate were the pouting, juvenile tantrums of Al Santos, a little known candidate in the race who decided to blow his top at the first question (it was an easy one). He left the stage immediately and later stomped his feet on the way back in as he sat in the crowd.
.
But at least he showed. Others did not, namely Sabatini.

We reached out to Sabatini for comment with no response to the Local News.
