The Moral Failures of Randy Ross

The Moral Failures of Randy Ross
The moral failures of Randy Ross completely and utterly disqualify the serial convict from holding any position of authority in public life.
Page after page, his Mammoth FDLE record tells the story of a man whose life and actions center on duplicity, corruption and constant run-ins with the law.
Let’s exam in the facts.
Despite his massive criminal record, Ross has audaciously decided to run for public office.
For over two decades, Ross engaged in the most venal behavior, both ethically and legally.
From roughly the year 2000 to present, Ross engaged in criminal activities he admitted to with guilty pleas on multiple occasions.
In 2001 to 2003, Ross was previously charged with larceny and pled guilty for violation of statute number 812. 014 2c.
But things really came to a head for Ross when his own mother turned him in for insurance fraud in 2015.
Ross fabricated thousands of dollars in false insurance claims relating to lawn furniture allegedly stolen from his home, ultimately facing five years of probation. The activist also lost his license and failed to pay $4000 in fees.
Ross began his career as a Democrat. But once his nefarious behavior began to materialize among his democratic compatriots, they rejected him and ousted Ross from the party in 2015.
Ross, apparently for purely political reasons, decided to switch to the Republican Party, which also exiled the political pariah in 2019.
One would think a lifetime of criminal record would teach Ross to curb his behavior. It did not in 2021, Ross vehicle was repossessed and many of his colleagues in the GOP accused the politico of driving the Trump bus under the influence.
His abuse of alcohol goes beyond casual drinking, with sources telling the Local News that Ross consumes "wine in the morning until early evenings.”
Most recently, Ross left a threatening voicemail to the local news this past year over another expose on his unhinged behavior, clearly under the influence of intoxicating substances at an early hour before sunrise.
Even President Trump's own club, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, determined Ross to be a nuisance. The club expelled him roughly 3 years ago.
Everyone deserves forgiveness. But as Ross approaches his golden years, it’s time for serious self reflection. Before Ross runs for public office to make laws, he needs to start by obeying them.
Ross's raucous behavior and lack of integrity must not be rewarded and disqualify him from participation in any office of public trust or party politics.
