OLN Endorsement: Carolina Amesty for State House District 45

Florida residents in State House District 45 need a fresh face and new voice. Carolina Amesty fits the bill. Her youthful perspective, ingenuity and conservative tone serve the district's constituents well. Her record as Central Christian University's Executive Vice President and foreign policy experience provide Amesty with the private and public background to get things done in Tallahassee.

Coming from a family with heritage from Venezuela, Amesty understands the consequences of socialist policies and government tyranny. A small business owner, Amesty owns and manages local businesses in Florida, including a private K-12 academy and a fast-food restaurant. Whether the issue is overreaching COVID mandates or violations of religious freedom or even burdensome business regulations, Amesty know the trials and challenges of owning a small business.

As a graduate from the University of Central Florida in undergraduate studies in Political Science and Graduate Studies in International Relations, Amesty maintains both a locally anchored perspective and a global outlook to meet our state and national challenges.

Amesty, in line with the wishes of her voters, has also advocated for parental rights, school choice, combat the radical left and the free market system.

Amesty hosted Vice President Mike Pence at her own Central Christian Unviersity as well as several other prominent officials and gained praise from several major organizations like the RNC's "Rising Star" list. Other prominent endorsements include State Senator Danny Burgess, State Representatives Joe Harding and Stan McClain, as well as long time political consultant activist Bertica Cabrera Morris. Amesty also boasts of the endorsement of former Trump appointed Ambassador Robin Bernstein, among many others.

While her opponents may be well intended in their run, only Amesty posesses the right formula and background to bring the GOP over the finish line in State House District 45. Vennia Francois has proven to be a solid loser. Mr. Portigliatti also failed in the last election to pull off a victory. Janet Fravela, by all counts a decent and community oriented woman, could never muster the financial firepower to win in the general election.

Carolina Amesty will stand strong for American values, work tirelessly with Governor DeSantis, and keep a focus on the needs of our community first. The time is now and the choice is clear: we thoroughly endorse Carolina Amesty for State House District 45.
