Endorsement: Jason Brodeur for Senate District 10

Republican State Senator Jason Brodeur is a steady voice of reason in a political environment filled with hot air. He lowers the temperature and without a doubt remains the quintessential "adult in the room" at a moment when many of our leaders find grandstanding far more popular than legislating.

He's a workhorse who gets things done, and has a track record of success in both the Florida House and Senate. Time and time again, we've heard from local leaders in city after city. Leaders from both parties tell us that he's a fighter for good government and is always there when constituents or municipalities need him.

But he's not only focused on fostering growth and sustainability for our local community. Brodeur seeks to uphold integrity in our state, especially well demonstrated in his recent sponsorship of SB 1352, which intends to ban political contributions from foreign governments.

Brodeur is also an advocate for our environment, and is focused on stopping inflation, ending government COVID overreach, empowering educators and providing tax breaks for frontline workers and teachers.

A stellar example of Brodeur's promotion of a pro-freedom agenda: SB 254, supporting churches right to remain open during the pandemic.

The veteran statesman and lifelong Central Florida resident not only carries out his duties efficiently and without drama, but also holds true to his constituent's conservative values. And while recent controversies surrounding the last election do raise concerns, both his track record and the evidence indicate the legislator's innocence.
