A Message to Our Readers: No, the Local News No Longer Uses or Owns Our Old Domain

Recently, several of our readers brought to our attention that a clever prankster purchased our former domain name through a Chinese firm. No, we do not own the page in question (seen above), and no, we do not plan on buying it. We do, however, seek to deploy legal remedies against those maligning our reputation with despicable content. We also took recent steps to curtail this abuse by filing a report with ICAAN. The wesbite once served as a transition page prior to the publication's move to OrlandoLocalNews.com— our current home.
Sadly it seems some in the community would rather lash out in vengeance than conjure up the courage to publicly challenge our editorial opinions, especially when they happen to voice the truth. Despite this brazen act of cowardice, we will not be shaken in our mission pursuing honest journalism in Central Florida. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
