Local Activist Lou Marin Elevated to NFRA National Director
The Florida Federation of Republican Assemblies made known yesterday the appointment of local activist Lou Marin to a national post within the organization. Earlier today, State President Peter Kouracos announced the decision of the Florida Republican Assembly Board of Directors to elevate Marin to the state level position of National Director.
As a National Director, Marin will be one of three Florida voting delegates to attend the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (N.F.R.A.) national convention being held October 8, 9, and 10, 2021 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Marin gained widespread popularity among conservative grassroots in Florida and across the nation for his efforts to support President Trump along the I-4 corridor in 2016. His repuation for "rallying the troops" and organizing earned him the respect of his colleagues as well, rewarding Marin with the new post.
The National Federation of Republican Assemblies operates in all 50 states as a grassroots network. Their mission is dedicated "to Reagan conservatives, who believe in small government, lower taxes, free market capitalism, a strong defense, the right to life, and a decent America." Both Ronald Reagan and Phyllis Schlafly maintained memberships with the organization.
