Florida Gas Prices Soar, Again
The average Floridian now pays $4.20 for a gallon of gas — two cents more than a week ago.
AAA said while both oil and gasoline prices rose last week, gas futures soared to a new record high.
“The increase is attributed to a combination of factors, including steady weekly declines in gasoline supplies and expectations that summer fuel demand will far outpace what we saw last year,” according to AAA’s Mark Jenkins.
The war in Ukraine continues to add to the increased cost of fuel as well as inflation in general across the country.
