Congressional District 7 Financials in Three Charts: Analysis

Three charts furnished by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) detail fundraising data on the contentious Republican primary now underway in Congressional District 7. The seat is currently held by retiring Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy who won in an upset election in 2016, defeating twelve term Congressman John Mica, the last Republican to occupy the seat.
The former congressman recently threw his support behind his former Chief of Staff Rusty Roberts, one of nine Republicans vying for the title, including Brady Duke, Anthony Sabatini, Cory Mills, Erika Benfield, Scott Sturgill, Jeremy Liggett, Joseph Cavagna and Lee Ogilvie.
