Bob Rose Let a Song Go Out of His Heart and Right Into Our Eats
As couples meander into Chatham's Place in Dr. Phillips for their romantic dinners, or come for a special birthday surprise, the magic of Bob Rose's music permeates the air with the strike of every key. Rose began playing piano from a young age and studied at Juilliard from where he graduated.
Mr. Rose not only enjoys being a jazz pianist, but is also a composer, and arranger: “He plays with passion and joy, influenced by international styles, jazz, blues, classical, and experimental. He improvises, harmonizes, and mesmerizes….”. Throughout the years, Rose has studied with world famous musicians including Mitchell Andrew, Jimmy Amadie, Pat Martino, George Crumb, and dozens of others. He also has performed with jazz greats like Alex Acuna, Ben Riley, Bernard Purdie, Panama Francis, Danny Gottlieb, Dave Liebman, Doug Mathews, Leroy Cooper, Nathan Page, Little Milton, Bernie Lee, Bill White, and Jacqueline Jones.
Over the decades, Bob Rose has played in New York, Philadelphia, and the Orlando music scenes, as well as some of the most iconic and renown venues in the world. Rose also founded the bands Solar Wind, Tapestry, and The Bob Rose Trio. Though the times dictate that he suspend many of his concerts and tours, Rose still offers the finest musical talent found in Orlando at Chatham's Place and, in addition, still finds time to give lessions and perform at private events.
Come listen to the beautiful music of Bob Rose tonight for your enchanted evening, as he lets a song go out of his heart and into yours!
