Anthony Sabatini Spends Campaign Season on Lavish Italian Vacation

State representative Anthony Sabatini (R) has come under fire from his opponents for taking a lavish vacation in the midst of campaign season. While his primary competitors in CD 7 continue to pitch their message on the trail, Sabatini traveled to Italy with his wife for a stint of wining, dining and hobnobbing.
It is not certain whether Sabatini paid for his vacation with personal funds or that of his campaign account.

Sabatini remains one of the lead fundraisers in the race for the district’s new officeholder.

Current incumbent Democrat Stephanie Murphy will be retiring this year. A field of nine Republicans, including Sabatini, will be vying for the party nomination in August.
