Windermere Wine & Dine a Stupendous Success
Downtown Windermere's Town Hall and the adjacent park hosted the city's annual Wine and Dine event on Saturday, February 5. Twenty-five area restaurants, including many within luxury hotels, participated in the town of Windermere event, which offered savory bites as well as beer, cordials and wine.
Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, Paloma Coffee, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Slate, Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ, Bacán, Haven, Kavas Tacos & Tequila, Capa, Ravello, Dubsdread Catering, Catering for Good and Spoon Full of Hope/Second Harvest Food Bank, The Boathouse, Tabla, Windermere Brewing Company, Dixie Cream Café, Terraline Crafted Italian, Paddlefish, Primo Restaurant, Highball & Harvest, Pilars Martini, Market to Table, Do Good Farm, American Social Bar & Grill, and Ocean Prime all came out to show off their best dishes and wines.
Several local philanthropic groups benefited, including Edgewood Children’s Ranch, SpiritHorse at Windermere Equestrian Center, Do Good Farm and Special Hearts Farm. The event has raised several hundred thousand dollars in the past for charity.
