Saint Patrick's Day: Central Florida's Top Three Irish Pubs
1. Fiddler's Green Irish Pub and Eatery
There's no greater Saint Patrick's Day tradition than enjoying a Guinness at Winter Park's Fiddler's Green. We spotted owner Donal O'Brien outside preparing his restaurant for the holiday. The demand at Fiddler's for entrance during normal times usually pushes lines out to the sidewalk. As a result, O'Brien and his team undertook measures to mitigate the wait and increase capacity by including outside tables as well. The tables will serve both those not interested in dining/drinking inside and as a staging area for those on the wait list. The pub will open first thing in the morning at 9 AM, with bands playing throughout the day, including Harley and Henry in the monring, Pete Pasha in the afternoon, and O'Grady in the evening and night. Dancers will also be performing and Trivia Nick will be quizzing guests from 12-8 PM.
