Local Chiro Chris Turner Hosts Cancer Charity Event

Dr. Chris Turner recently hosted a cancer benefit at London House in Dr. Phillips. The event took place Friday, March 18th at 7:00 PM at London House benefitting Libby's Legacy.
The fundraiser raised about $13,000 and Turner posted the results to his instagram:
Let me tell you some things that really make my heart happy: 1. My goal for our charity event was to raise $10,000 for Libby's Legacy. We raised $13,000. 2. Every single person I talked to that attended said that they had a great time. 3. Maybe what made me the most happy was the sheer diversity of people that attended our charity event to fight breast cancer. My friends, my patients, strangers. It was incredible to see all walks of life coming together to support a common cause. Thank you to everyone who attended, all of our sponsors, and especially Holly Spears for helping me organize the event. Love you all. Lastly, mom, I hope I'm making you proud."

Turner decided to hold the event in support of breast cancer patients after his mother successfully recovered the disease several years ago.
