JamArt to Display Sandra Solomon Collection in October
JamArt of Casselberry will showcase the artwork of former city commissioner Sandra Solomon throughout the month of October. A reception will be held from 6-8 PM to honor and admire her drawings on October 16, 2021.
Her sketches were recently displayed at an art show in Altamonte where she received praises from many of the guests. Solomon focuses on wide range of art from still life to surrealist images.
While commissioner, Solomon invested heavily in an overhaul of the city, increasing park space, protecting historic sites like veterans' cemeteries, and pushing to connect bike paths across the county. A Jew of European origin, Solomon also plans on publishing a book related to her family history during the Holocaust in the next two years.
The JamArt showcase is located at 304 Live Oaks Blvd in Casselberry near the post office.
